Oriza County Crianza

The Condado de Oriza Crianza is a red wine produced in the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin, one of the most prestigious wine regions in Spain. This wine is mainly made from Tempranillo grapes, also known in the region as Tinta del País or Tinto Fino, a variety that is emblematic of Ribera del Duero. It must age for a minimum of 12 months in oak barrels, followed by an additional period in the bottle before being marketed. The Condado de Oriza Crianza follows these guidelines, giving it its distinctive character. As for the tasting notes, it has a ruby red color with garnet reflections, indicating its time in the barrel and its evolution. On the nose, it offers complex and intense aromas that combine notes of ripe fruits such as cherries, blackberries, and plums, with spicy and balsamic hints. Notes of vanilla, coconut, and tobacco may also appear, derived from its aging in barrels. On the palate, it is balanced, with a good structure and soft tannins. It has well-integrated acidity that provides freshness and a long and persistent finish, with memories of ripe fruit and spices. It pairs well with a variety of dishes, including red meats, lamb, roasts, game, and aged cheeses. Its structure and complexity make it ideal for accompanying meals with robust flavors. It is recommended to serve between 16°C and 18°C to fully enjoy its aromatic and gustatory qualities.
