One of the most reliable and prestigious Ribera del Duero wines, it always sells out within a few months of release.
This family winery had its beginnings in Pedrosa de Duero, in the heart of the D.O. Ribera del Duero, Paco Rodero 's hometown. Paco, with his father Doroteo, took care of his family vineyard, a plot that had belonged to the village chaplains centuries ago, and the aging process takes place in a subway cellar with a depth of 10 meters. There the wines rest in new French oak barrels (1 to 3 years) until they reach the optimum maturity for blending orcoupage. A selection of 22 types of French oak according to their origin (Alier, Nevers, Centre), air-dried (from 24 to 60 months) and toasted, help to age the wine.
