In the 14th century, the village of Pedrosa del Duero, where the winery is located, housed a parish where the chaplains gave mass in exchange for small plots of land. Over time, the parish eventually collected a large plot of land. Years later the lands passed into the hands of the City Council, although for the inhabitants of the area those lands would always remain the Pago de los Capellanes.
It is a monovariety of the parish
