Quinta Sardonia Q2 2013

Q2 de Quinta Sardonia 2013: The color is medium-depth, cherry red with a violet rim. The nose is intense, with a first sensation of fresh red fruit, blackberries and cherries, which evolve as we oxygenate the wine to reveal notes of licorice and a hint of dried fruit on the finish. The attack on the palate is very jovial, fresh, with the red fruit well rounded and fleshy. The texture is very sweet in the center of the mouth and gives way to firm but velvety tannin, framing a finish of blackcurrant blossom and pleasant vegetal notes. The finish marks a pleasantly serious and very long wine.
