The Red Wine Can Blau is a crianza made with different types of grapes, 50% Carignan, 30% Syrah and 20% Garmacha, the aging lasts 9 months in new barrels and have a production of 80000 bottles. The Vino Tinto Can Blau belongs to the D.O. Montsant which is located around the Priorat but does not enjoy the same fame although it has some high quality wines and cheaper than those of D.O.Priorat. In the D.O. Montsant you can work with characteristic varieties, planted and adapted each of them to soils of different components, sandy, clay for the Carignan grape, limestone for Syrah and slate for Grenache. The Can Blau Red Wine is produced by the Cellers Can Blau Winery, this winery was founded in 2003, has 34 hectares of vineyards and 300 barrels.
