The Clos Galena Red Wine is a masterpiece of organic viticulture, known for its balanced blend of 40% Garnacha, 20% Cariñena, 20% Syrah, and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes come from five of our fourteen vineyard plots, carefully selected based on soil type and vine adaptation, with a limited production of 0.5 kg per vine.
The harvest is done manually, with a meticulous selection of grapes in perfect condition, transported in 15-kilo crates to the winery to ensure their integrity and quality. In the winery, each variety undergoes separate fermentation and maceration in stainless steel tanks. Subsequently, a gentle pressing of the skins and malolactic fermentation is carried out. Finally, the blending of the different varieties takes place before aging in barrels.
The wine ages for 12 months in new French oak barrels, followed by an additional 24 months in bottle for refinement and development.
Clos Galena is an elegant and complex wine, with an aromatic expression that combines notes of ripe fruits, spices, and subtle oak touches.
