To make La Locomotora red wine the grapes were destemmed and subsequently macerated cold at 5º C for 6 days. The must fermented at a controlled temperature of 28°C for 10 days, with three daily pump-overs, and fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks. It is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months with rackings every 4 months
