Red Wine Mesalina Cinnamon 500ml Roman emperors used cinnamon as a perfume since the seplasarii or perfumers sold it at the foot of the Capitol. This fictional Roman medicinal wine, used by physicians and cited by Dioscorides as a remedy for lack of vigor, is named in honor of one of the great myths of sensuality in antiquity: MESALINA, wife of Emperor Claudius, famous for her amorous arts and her knowledge of aphrodisiac products like cinnamon. IN TASTING: Red wine with a high layer of garnet red color; intense on the nose with aromas of cinnamon and honey, intense on the palate with a taste of spices and a sweet finish.
