Sonsierra Reserva red wine
The Sonsierra Reserva red wine belongs to the Sonsierra winery in La Rioja, it has a Designation of Origin from La Rioja, and is made from 100% Tempranillo grapes. It is produced from old vineyards located on the slopes of the Cantabria Mountains and harvested by hand. Pre-fermentation maceration for 24 hours. Alcoholic fermentation with periodic pumpovers in stainless steel tanks for 8 days at a controlled temperature of 24 ºC to preserve and extract the fruity aromas to the maximum. Post-fermentation maceration for 24-48 hours. Malolactic fermentation in concrete tanks. Aged for 12 months in American oak (80%) and French oak (20%) Bordeaux barrels. Minimum of 24 months of bottle aging for further refinement.
