Malvasia is a classic Mediterranean white grape variety with a chronology of over 2000 years, Pale yellow with slight salmon notes, slightly cloudy.The nose is dominated by ripe apple golden type, white flowers, slightly mineral, leaves a sensation of spiciness.
In the mouth very frank with what was offered on the nose, acidic, slightly dry, saline, notes of white fruit very long and leaving a spicy notes that gives it a lot of spark.
The plant has a semi-erect habit, which gives it elasticity against the wind, and thanks to its great vigour, it has the capacity to resist the saltpetre of the sea that devastates the buds of other less appropriate varieties. Ripening in our latitude is early, with the grapes being harvested in August. The bunches are elongated and medium-sized, with a production per vine of less than one kilogram. It is a model of a sustainable estate within the Natural Park of S'Albufera d'Es Grau, which has already received several awards for its relevance to the diversification and future of the Menorcan countryside
In the glass, Vinya Sa Cudia shows a pale gold color and glyceric behavior. On the nose, it stands out for its perfumed aroma of white flowers, which is so intense that it can be perceived even without lifting it.
In the mouth it shows the power of its body, highlighting the fruity taste of raisins and ripe dried apricots that fill the whole mouth, with a very long persistence. We recommend a serving temperature of no less than 10 degrees, pairing perfectly with rice.
