San Bernabé Gran Reserva Special Red Vermouth is a vermouth made from Rioja red wines of the Tempranillo and Garnacha varieties.
It is aged for 3 years in 40 hl oak vats. It is macerated from an exclusive selection of 49 botanicals, including wormwood and gentian, as well as citrus peels, chamomile, cloves, cinnamon, etc.
Ruby red color with a tile edge.
On the nose, it stands out for its aromas of liqueur fruits, wild mountain herbs, highly spiced, complex, and with elegant citrus notes.
On the palate, it is tasty, full-bodied, structured, long, persistent, and very well-balanced between sweetness, acidity, and a fine and elegant bitterness that invites you to keep tasting.
Perfect with
As an aperitif, we recommend enjoying it on its own, very cold or with one or two ice cubes. Accompanied by a piece of orange or lemon peel.
And we can even enjoy it throughout the meal in savory dishes and during the after-dinner as a dessert pairing.
It pairs perfectly with vinaigrettes, seasoned olives, pickles, mussels, clams, smoked foods, any seafood product, and all kinds of fish: tuna, cod, salmon, anchovies...
