6th Anniversary Beer: Limited Edition

With a Barley Wine base, the Scone team added lactose to achieve a "pastry" effect, and with a blend of bourbon-infused vanilla and cinnamon, they tried to simulate custard in the form of beer.

• Ruby color, with dark red tones and hints of burgundy. Beige foam, dense and compact with great retention.
• On the nose, there is an initial strong vanilla hit with a malty background.
• Dense and intense mouthfeel due to the malt load, reminiscent of a cake. As it warms up, it evolves into liquor notes always infused with an intense vanilla flavor.
• Mouthfeel: even with 9% alcohol, the beer is easy to drink. It doesn't invite long sips but constant short sips. The flavor fills the whole mouth, it feels round without sharp notes. It always maintains a lingering vanilla flavor after each sip, reminiscent of a dessert.
• Pairs well alone if desired because it is so flavorful that it doesn't need anything else, but if you want to pair it with something, blue cheese pairs perfectly, whether it's Roquefort, Cabrales, etc. It is a safe choice with desserts, rice pudding, walnut cake, cheesecake...
