Processes: - EXTRACTION: The extraction of Ibiza and Formentera Sea Water is carried out in open sea within the first nautical mile, in areas where the minimum depth varies between 40 and 100 meters and the intake is done between 15 and 25 meters deep; looking for rocky bottoms, outside bays, ports, beaches, and generally inhabited areas where there could be any human activity that poses a risk to the quality of sea water. - FILTERING: Ibiza and Formentera Sea Water goes through different stages until reaching optimal filtration for human consumption. Starting from the intake, we perform a first pre-filtering to avoid solid particles in suspension. We then proceed to three different filtration and sterilization stages, ending with a microfiltration of 0.20 microns for use in cooking and similar purposes, and an ultrafiltration for direct consumption and similar purposes. - SELF-CONTROL: Ibiza and Formentera Sea Water is committed to the quality of our product, that's why we carry out numerous quality analyses of both the extraction area and the final product.
