Tasting notes:Red color, with garnet hues, clean and bright. The nose is intense, clean, with aromas of fresh fruit, strawberry and cherry. The palate is round, fresh, with nice tannins, balanced, with good structure, and great permanence in the end with a fine and elegant aftertaste
Serving temperature: 16ºC
Making: It is made as a single varietal Mencía from its vineyard located in Los Barrios, a wine-growing area of Bierzo, which has different characteristics from other areas of the region, so its wines are also different, although they are representative of a part of its terroir. It is aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels. Coming from alluvial soils, its 80 to 120 year old vines are bathed by a continental Mediterranean climate which, together with an average altitude of 550 meters, give the wine a marked aromatic character
