Hispania Blanco is a barrel-aged wine produced by Territorio Luthier within the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin.
This white wine is produced from a careful selection of grapes, with 75% Albillo Mayor and 25% Pirulés, Viura and Malvasía. It comes from old, low-yield vineyards, located on sandy loam soils in Zazuar (Burgos), cultivated under sustainable agricultural practices.
In its production, Hispania Blanco Crianza undergoes direct pressing and ferments in concrete tanks with native yeasts. Subsequently, malolactic fermentation takes place in Spanish oak barrels (Quercus Pyrenaica), where the wine ages for 16 months, acquiring complexity and character.
Appearance: It has a golden yellow color with golden highlights on the rim.
Nose: Aromas of white fruits with citrus nuances, accompanied by subtle notes of honey and complex spices. Hints of undergrowth, quince and delicate balsamic are perceived, fused with an elegant florality that evokes the undergrowth, complemented by subtle toasted notes of wood.
Palate: Silky and enveloping start, with a glyceric texture that provides breadth in the mouth. It stands out for its freshness and a long, velvety aftertaste. Its marked verticality and balance give it great aging potential.
