Terlano is a wine-growing village located halfway between Merano and Bolzano, the main cities of Alto Adige, where the Adige river flows along a wide valley in a south-eastern direction. The village and vineyards are sheltered by the red porphyry rock of Mount Tschöggl on the left side of the valley. The soils are sandy-stony and well drained.
The grapes are harvested by hand, followed by careful selection. The whole bunches are gently pressed and the must is clarified through natural sedimentation. Fermentation is carried out slowly and temperature-controlled in stainless steel tanks. Subsequently, the wine is aged on the lees in the same stainless steel tanks for a period of 5 to 7 months.
Appearance: it exhibits a straw yellow colour of great intensity.
Aroma: This Pinot Grigio fuses the stimulating fruit presence, reminiscent of grapefruit, lychee and white melon, with the aromatic and floral character of a freshly mown meadow.
Taste: With meticulous harmony in its components, from the aromas of black tea to the luscious exotic fruit nuances of ripe melon and grapefruit, this wine is a true marvel in its fullness and, at the same time, smoothness.
