The Godello Deck is the result of Bodegas Vilano's passion and commitment to exploring new oenological frontiers. Located in the municipality of Petín, in the heart of Valdeorras, this winery has been able to take advantage of the unique characteristics of the Galician terroir to produce an intense and expressive white wine that reflects the character of the Godello grape. The Godello grapes, grown in selected plots in Petín, benefit from shallow and poor soils, mostly composed of clay and slate. After a careful harvest, the grapes undergo alcoholic fermentation and aging with 'bâtonnage' in French oak barrels, adding complexity and structure to the wine. Tasting notes: - Sight: The Godello Deck presents itself with a bright straw yellow color, inviting you to discover its freshness and liveliness. - Nose: On the nose, it reveals an aromatic complexity with citrus, mineral notes, and subtle hints of wood, offering a unique and enveloping sensory experience. - Palate: On the palate, this wine shows itself fat, balanced, long, and persistent, delighting the palate with its silky texture and elegant finish.
