The origin of this wine dates back to 1987, when Ángel Lorenzo Cachazo founded his own winery, Martivilli, and later joined the Uvas Felices project in 2005. El Perro Verde was born in this context, conceived as a fresh, delicious, and expressive wine, made exclusively with grapes from vineyards located at altitudes of 800 meters above sea level in different locations in the region. The grapes, carefully harvested in September, undergo a process of destemming, crushing, and maceration for six hours before fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. This meticulous process ensures the freshness and aromatic richness that distinguish El Perro Verde. As for its sensory characteristics, it has a pale yellow color, clean and bright. On the nose, it is intense and seductive, with pleasant aromas of white flowers, tropical and stone fruits such as green pineapple, passion fruit, and peach, complemented by citrus notes of lemon peel and aromatic herbs such as fennel and mint. On the palate, it offers an explosion of fruit with a silky texture and vibrant freshness. The intense final memories of lime stand out, with a delicate saline note that invites another sip.
