After nearly four decades collaborating with Sir Peter Blake, their partnership has been built on a mutual respect for excellence.
Deeply valuing the time required to establish, nurture and preserve heritage, as well as the aspiration to create iconic works and legendary pieces. These timeless values are reflected in both the personality and work of acclaimed artist Sir Peter Blake.
A HISTORY RICH IN ART AND WHISKY
The collaboration with Sir Peter Blake began in 1986, when he designed a label for a set of twelve 60-year-old single malts harvested in 1926.
The label artwork, in Blake's distinctive style, captures the moment when the sherry-seasoned cask was carefully placed in our distillery during the 1920s to mature. In 2012, they collaborated again to commemorate Sir Peter Blake's 80th birthday.
The resulting artwork is like a treasure trove full of color and history, reflecting a specific decade of Sir Peter Blake's life, surrounded by a detailed artistic representation of the whisky making process.
