A couple of young men, Sebastiano - known as Tiano - and Nazzareno - as Nareno - arrived at the port of Buenos Aires in the summer of 1908 after 18 days of ocean crossing. Once in the city, they traveled 1,000 km west until they reached the region of Mendoza, where vineyards were already cultivated at the foot of the Andes. There is where they settled and started their families, dedicating their lives to work and cultivate the vineyard. Over the years, they identified and selected the best vines of malbec, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, and merlot. Today, their grandson Ariel Savina leads this exciting family project in the Uco Valley and Luján de Cuyo, where he produces Tiano & Nareno 2015, a very special wine with very limited production that is only bottled in the best vintages.
