Young Sebastiano - known as Tiano - and Nazzareno - known as Nareno - arrived at the port of Buenos Aires in the summer of 1908 after an 18-day ocean crossing. Once in the city, they traveled 1,000 km west until they reached the Mendoza region, where vineyards were already being cultivated at the foot of the Andes. It was there that they settled and raised their families, dedicating their lives to working and cultivating the vineyards. Over the years they identified and selected the best Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot vineyards. Today their grandson Ariel Savina leads this exciting family project at altitude in the Uco Valley and Luján de Cuyo, where he makes Tiano & Nareno 2015, a very special wine of very limited production that is only bottled in the best vintages.
