The English company, Wilkin & Sons Limited, was founded in 1885 and currently has 400 hectares of land around Tiptree, where strawberries, raspberries, blackcurrants, red plums and strawberries are grown. The other varieties of fruit, which cannot be grown on Tiptree, are imported from the best regions of the world.
On arrival at the factory, all fruit is washed and sorted by hand before processing begins. Wilkin & Sons Ltd. never uses artificial coloring or preservatives in its products and does not work with or for other companies.
