Tomme de Montagne de Thônes is an uncooked pressed cheese made from raw cow's milk.
As its name suggests it is made with milk from mountain areas. The typicality of the fodder at this altitude gives the cheese aromas specific to mountain cheeses.
In cooking, this tomme melts very well and can be used instead of raclette.
This one is unctuous, generous, creamy as desired with taste but not too much either a happy medium that makes us salivate.
