The Tr3smano Vendimia Red Wine from Bodegas Tr3smano - Lagar de Proventus, presents us with this red wine from the D.O. Ribera del Duero, made from 100% Tinta del País (Tempranillo) grape varieties.
Resulting from the merger of three sub-zones from which the grapes are obtained after a thorough selection of the vineyards and berries. Not every year 100% of each vineyard is harvested. There are times when part of the harvest must be disregarded to benefit the final quality of the resulting wine.
The grapes come from old vineyards between 35 and 80 years old, located in the area of Olmedillo, Roa, La Horra, Moradillo, Pesquera and Peñafiel. The soils are very poor limestone bedrock, on top of which there are clays in the Burgos area and gravels in the Peñafiel area.
Ageing: 16 months in new French oak barrels.

Winery Vineyards
Tr3smano draws from large vineyards located in three of the best wine-growing sub-zones of the Ribera del Duero located in the Golden Mile, in Valladolid. Between them they have a total area of about 55 hectares of vineyards, although all of very low production.
All the vineyards are planted exclusively with Tempranillo or Tinta del país - Tinta fina, most of them cultivated in goblet training system.
The work is carried out completely manually with the greatest possible care to respect the quality of the grapes.
The winery is surrounded by a first vineyard of 50 years: the Viña del Lagar. This, along with that of Rábano, is cultivated on very poor sandy-loam soils.
