The Red Wine Vetusta Viñas de Fuentenebro belongs to the D.O Ribera del Duero and this composed of 100% Tempranillo grapes. The grapes selected for this wine comes from two of our viñedos of the municipal district of Fuentenebro (Burgos) located in two places: “El Bosque “y “el Carrascalon”. The first one is characterized by a soil dominated by large boulders and a red clay subsoil,  is located at 960 meters above sea level. In the “el Carrascalon” its terroir is composed of the red clay soil characteristic of the area and its special  altitude, 1000 meters above sea level. These two vineyards were planted in 1999 and their production per hectare this year was 5800 kg per hectare
