Since 1980, his daughters, Mariangela and Alessandra, have been appointed directors of the company. The name Aceto Balsamico del Duca was chosen by Adriano Grosoli to relate his product to the prestigious Duke Francesco I D'Este, who was one of the most famous makers and lovers of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena.
