More information:

The Albarín white grape is a peculiar and scarce grape that fortunately is native and grows very well in the area of Cangas de Narcea, Asturias. It is a tremendously special grape that is characterized by a great freshness and a high aromatic intensity. It is characterized by a rapid maturation and the acquisition of alcoholic degrees without difficulty. It is an aromatic grape that produces wines with floral and fruity aromas. The low pH of the grape, together with its high acidity, means that its wines are guaranteed to be consumed after several years

The white Albarín grape is one of the four native varieties of Asturias used for the production of Cangas P.D.O. wines, the others being Albarín negro, Verdejo negro and Carrasquín.

Cangas de Narcea is a high area, which belongs to the Heroic Viticulture. In the composition of the soil we highlight a mixture of several components, anthracite, clay, silt and slate. This results in high mountain wines with an Atlantic character. The white albarín grape has adapted perfectly to these harsh growing conditions

Bodega Vidas produces small productions of red and white wines of the highest quality

The 7 Vidas winemaking process begins with the manual harvest. The grapes are cold macerated for two days and then pressed and destemmed. Fermentation lasts between 10 and 12 days and at the end of fermentation the wine is racked. Finally it is filtered and bottled
