Pazo Casanova has opted to produce its wines from native Galician grapes, being the Treixadura the predominant in their whites. It also stands out for being one of the few wineries in Ribeiro that produces red wines. In this case it uses the Brancellao and Sousón varieties, also little known and highly appreciated for their distinctive aromatic notes.
The Treixadura varieties are also very popular
The soils of granite with the presence of schist are another of the particularities of the wines of this winery overlooking the Río Avia.
