Walnut oil is La Tourangelle's flagship product. Winner of the gold medal at the Concours Général Agricole de Paris.

Nut oil is delicious and easy to use, goes perfectly with salads and is ideal for making a light but tasty vinaigrette. It can also be tried with white tarragon vinegar.

Historically French villages owned mills in which the grinding and extraction of different oils from different nuts took place.

La Tourangelle has been making its oils in its mill in Saumur, in the Loire Valley, using the same traditional methods for 150 years.


La Tourangelle Oils are made from the finest nuts available. For example, most of the walnuts we use come from the orchard next to the oil mill. Each batch of walnut oil is unique and handmade following a 150 year old tradition. First the nuts are roasted by hand in cast iron kettles before extraction with the press. The oil is then lightly filtered and bottled.
