WHITE WINE LAS TRES DE CHOZAS CARRASCAL
It is a project of the López Family, together with the well-known French winemaker Michael Poudou. The Chozas Carrascal estate is located 700 meters above sea level, in San Antonio de Requena, between the towns of Requena and Utiel.
In this area, the vineyard has low but high-quality productions, with very alcoholic and concentrated wines. The grapes are harvested in the early morning when they are cold. It has concrete and steel tanks, being the subject of study at the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
The Chozas Carrascal winery is committed to environmental protection. All their wines have obtained organic certification.
It is a white wine made with Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Macabeo grapes. With a unique maceration at low temperature, fermented and aged in barrels.
It has a pale yellow color with greenish highlights, aromas of white flowers, tropical fruits, and citrus, with a delicate hint of vanilla and honey. It is an aromatic, fresh wine, but at the same time long and intense. The optimal serving temperature is 10º, but it is recommended to serve it between 6º and 8º with light dishes and between 10º and 12º with stronger dishes.
It is a wine that pairs perfectly with stews, aged cheeses, stews, rice dishes, and ratatouille.
