THE HARVEST IN CUADRAT VALLEY
The oils come from the same variety of olive, arbequina, grown in the family olive grove Cuadrat Valley. They are all "EXTRA VIRGIN DOP Les Garrigues". The different harvest periods of our olives result in a difference in the maturity of the fruit and the fruity flavor of the oil, which is expressed in our four varieties or selections.
All of them offer the fiery fruitiness of fresh olives, with green aromas of grass and artichoke, intermingled with subtle notes of almonds and fresh apples. In addition, they contain all the essential nutrients: fatty acids (protection against vascular diseases), aromatic molecules (antioxidants), vitamins A and E.

Tasting notes - EVOO L'Oli Ecológico · Cuadrat Valley
Visual phase:Golden green color with warm reflections and bright clarity. It has a fluid and elegant density, anticipating a smooth and fresh entry.
Olfactory phase:Aromatically very
fine and harmonious, of
medium-high intensity, with great vegetal freshness. Notes of
freshly cut grass,
green almond,
tomato leaf, and
artichoke stand out, with a slightly
mentholated background that adds complexity and liveliness. The combination is delicate but structured, a faithful reflection of an arbequina harvested at its optimal moment.
Gustatory phase:In the mouth it is
very balanced, with a smooth and silky entry. The
bitterness and spiciness are very mild, almost imperceptible, which reinforces its friendly and versatile profile. Flavors appear that confirm what was perceived on the nose: green vegetables, fresh almond, and a subtle balsamic nuance reminiscent of
wild mint. Its fluid and rounded texture makes it a very elegant EVOO.
Aftertaste:Persistent, clean and pleasant, with a fresh and almond-like vegetable echo that lingers without saturating.
Recommended pairing:Perfect for raw consumption: on artisan bread, in delicate salads, white fish, steamed vegetables, fresh cheeses, or fruits like avocado. Also ideal for finishing contemporary or Mediterranean-inspired dishes.

The Estate
Cuadrat Valley is located in the province of Lleida (Spain), between the towns of Albagès and Juncosa, 120 km west of Barcelona. In the 90 hectares of land, 62 are dedicated to olive cultivation, and the rest of the estate houses native shrubs, orchards, forests, truffle oak groves, almond trees...
Cuadrat Valley is nestled in the heart of a splendidly preserved nature that the artistic dry stone construction, inscribed in UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage, has shaped. The terraces, watering holes, and iconic vaulted cabins of the Les Garrigues region envelop, shape, and humanize the landscape.
The Arbequina
