El Cel is the most select wine from Mervm Priorati, made from Garnacha, Cariñena, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes that grow in the highest parts of their vineyards in Priorat. This region, known for its llicorell soil and heroic viticulture, offers a unique environment for growing exceptional quality grapes. The wine ages in French oak barrels for 14 to 18 months, resulting in an intense expression with notes of forest berries, blackberries, plums, chocolate, and toasted flavors. The 2020 vintage has been rated as excellent, producing an exclusive and limited wine. El Cel 2020 pairs perfectly with rich-flavored dishes such as venison, suckling pig, and aged cheeses. It is recommended to serve at a temperature of 16ºC to fully appreciate its characteristics.
