The Sierra Cantabria Private Collection is a collector's wine by brothers Marcos and Miguel Eguren. Produced by Bodega Sierra Cantabria in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, it falls within the D.O.Ca Rioja, exclusively utilizing Tempranillo from vineyards over 50 years old. The 2020 harvest was done by hand with thorough grape selection. Its production combines traditional and modern methods, fermenting with indigenous yeast and aging for 16 months in new French and American oak barrels. With 14.5% alcohol, it pairs well with meats and aged cheeses. This wine reflects the purity of the Rioja terroir, characterized by its powerful and well-structured flavor with notes of wild fruits and licorice.
