The Coffee Yard is a new business partner of The Coffee Gardens that is supporting Norman Mukuru and his team to bring their coffees to Falcon Specialty in the UK and the European Union. This relationship is now in its second year. The Coffee Gardens has known Norman for several years and has built a relationship based on knowledge exchange and mutual learning around farmer processing and traceability program creation. It is thanks to this history and mutual trust that they have been able to develop the relationship to the point of exporting Norman's coffee. Based at the foothills of Mount Elgon, where coffee is grown in the districts of Sironko, Mbale, Bulambuli, and Kapchorwa, Norman founded The Coffee Yard, a huge coffee reception and drying center. Norman has extensive experience in the coffee sector, having worked in it for almost 20 years, and since 2018 he has been producing natural coffees, often adjusting his processes to find the profiles that his customers are looking for.
