Milk thistle (Silybum marianum Gaertn) has been used since ancient times and is popularly known for its liver care properties. Its main active ingredient is silymarin which is extracted from the seeds of the plant and its main flavonoid is silybin. The hepatic protective effect of milk thistle is mainly due to its ability to enhance hepatic glutathione levels and contribute to antioxidant defense, thus it can protect the liver from free radical damage, contributing to maintain and improve liver function.

How to use:

It is advisable to take 1 capsule every 12 hours with a large glass of water.
