Fenugreek seeds (alhovas) are popularly used for the treatment of obesity and diabetes. Its use has been limited mainly in Western countries due to its very bitter taste and its characteristic unpleasant odor that concentrates in sweat and urine. Among its components, we highlight the steroid saponins and mucilaginous fiber to which its beneficial effects are attributed. Galactomannan is the characteristic hydrocolloid of fenugreek. Its characteristic structure with a 1:1 mannose: galactose ratio is considered to be responsible for its higher potency over other dietary fibers and its unique surface properties with high capacity to adsorb oils or hydrophobic surfaces. These properties are very useful in improving glucose response in diabetic patients and lowering cholesterol levels. Among the steroidal saponins, phenogrekin is involved in the regulation of pancreatic secretions. It also appears that steroidal saponins inhibit the absorption and synthesis of cholesterol.

How to use:

Take 1 capsule every 12 hours.
