Asturian cheese with PDO Afuega'l Pitu
It is a matured fatty cheese with a reddish orange color, made with pasteurized whole cow's milk, soft paste to which paprika is added, obtained by lactic coagulation.
It has a cow, mushroom and forest flavor
It has an aroma of cow, mushroom and forest; as for its flavor it is creamy and dry, with an intense taste of fresh dairy products, with hints of toasted hazelnuts, wild flowers and butters, without any acidity. The paprika accentuates its slightly spicy flavor, without the paprika hiding and overpowering the rest of the flavors of this cheese.
