Algueira Escalada is a white wine from the Ribeira Sacra Designation of Origin made 100% with Godello grapes. Born to highlight an excellent raw material, ESCALADA is a free product in which native yeasts ferment without temperature control in chestnut and French oak barrels, enveloping the Godello in its lees with a gentle battonage that only develops until the end of fermentation. Tasting note of Algueira Escalada With a pale gold color, its movement in the glass suggests a full-bodied wine with a dense mouthfeel that envelops the palate. On the nose, the terroir disappears to make way for a memory of dairy and orange blossom mixed with hints of fennel and pastries as it opens up. The entry on the palate is dense, but with good acidity and good persistence.
