Antidoto Le Rosé is a rosé wine from the D.O.C. Ribera del Duero produced by Bodegas Antidoto.
A very particular rosé made in equal parts with tinto fino and albillo, the native white grape of Ribera del Duero, grown in calcareous soils and fermented and aged in 600-litre barrels.
Sourdais has embarked on the adventure of making the most ambitious Castilian rosé, "conceived from the vineyard itself, and not with the grapes that have been discarded for red wines" -the Frenchman points out-, from native varieties: tinto fino, garnacha and the white albillo.
Appearance: Pale pink with salmon nuances, this rosé shines for its visual elegance and luminosity. It reflects a vibrant freshness and a delicate style.
Nose: On the nose, it presents a surprising complexity with fresh and floral aromas. Notes of wild strawberries, citrus, raspberries and a subtle herbaceous touch stand out. Mineral notes provide an interesting depth that reflects the character of the vineyard soils.
Palate: On the palate, Antídoto Le Rosé is fresh, with a well-balanced acidity that gives it vivacity. The fruity flavors unfold smoothly, highlighting fresh red fruit and a hint of citrus. Its texture is smooth and creamy thanks to the brief contact with the lees, which adds a silky and persistent character. The finish is long and refreshing, with a slight mineral touch.
