Basagoiti Crianza

Basagoiti is a red wine from the D.O. Rioja made by the Basagoiti winery. It is a winery with more than 90 years that belongs to the Bodegas Parxet group.

Basagoiti is made with the Tempranillo (70%) and Garnacha (30%) varieties. The grapes come from vines between 20 and 25 years old planted on clay and calcareous soil.

For its elaboration, the grape is destemmed and placed in stainless steel tanks where it is macerated and fermented with temperature control. After this process, the wine is racked and placed in fine barrels.

In these barrels the wine spends about 12 months of aging plus a short time in the bottle where it has just been refined.
