Grown in the village of Corullón, our potatoes have been known since ancient times as "cachelos" or "patatas del país". The same name is used to refer to potatoes cooked to accompany botillo, vegetables, game meats, octopus, etc. .... In addition, few things offer us the traditional gastronomy as rich as fried potatoes with homemade eggs or free-range chicken.

The Bierzo potato is medium or large, oval, thin-skinned and somewhat mottled. The exterior color is yellowish and white in the flesh. The microclimate of the Bierzo region, halfway between Galicia and the plateau, gives unique characteristics to our village potatoes: consistent, very starchy and with little water. It is a potato with a very good flavor
