The beginnings of Mar-Tret Conserves artesanes date back to 1977. It was a store with a small workshop where roasted peppers, "escalivada" and cooked vegetables were made. It was sold freshly made. As if it were homemade. But times change, and it was essential to offer a product that could be preserved longer without the need for cold. So it was that in 1998 the facilities were inaugurated in the Masía Can Cortadelles, next to the natural park of Montserrat Mountain. In this farmhouse they began to produce preserves, without changing the traditional process that had been used until then, and all this with modern facilities that met all the requirements of health regulations
