The Conti family vineyard is based on a mother rock composed of a large quantity of limestone, resulting in wines rich in minerality. Above the rock is a layer of clay, which adds power and complexity to the wine. The Cantalouette cuvée from Château Tour des Gendres reveals on the nose tangy red fruits such as blackcurrant, redcurrant, and blackberries. The palate is fresh, with a lively and fruity attack and a finish of ripe fruits. Silky and tender tannins give it a beautiful energy.
