The name Châteauneuf-du-Pape means "new castle of the Pope", and harks back to the early 14th Century, when Avignon was chosen as the new home for the Pope's Court.

The Châteauneuf -du-Pape AOC is a unique appellation, this wine has a unique tasting profile.

This wine is powerful, balanced and has a round structure on the palate. Nose is typically concentrated with notes of forest and wood. You will find a wide range of flavours: ripe blackcurrant, Blackberry, Raspberry, notes of coffee and liquorice.
