Domain of Pidio Tinto is a red wine aged in wood made by Cillar de Silos with the varieties Tinto Fino and Albillo, in the D.O. Ribera del Duero, in Castilla y León (Spain).
This wine is part of the Dominio del Pidio project, led by the Aragón brothers, which aims to recover a centuries-old legacy in the ancient 16th century winery district of Quintana del Pidio. It comes from old vines located in clay-sandy-loam soils at an average altitude of 890 meters above sea level, cultivated organically with biodynamic treatments and limited yield productions.
In the winery, the grapes ferment spontaneously with native yeasts in cement tanks and then age in French oak barrels for 15 months.
Dominio del Pidio Tinto reflects the essence of the Ribera del Duero and is ideal for pairing with red meats.
