This is a story of coincidences, of men passionate about a variety, of convictions, of a work of observation and discovery, in which Michel, without pressure, finds the person, the moment and the land that allow him to be a pioneer rather than a simple follower. Thus in 2002 comes the meeting with Ron and Elva Laughton (Jasper Hill vineyards) where they plant a vineyard on their famous Cambrian soils of Heathcote and with Rick Kinzbrunner (Gioconda Wines), where they take advantage of the granitic soils of Northeast Victoria.
