L942 in the glass, its appearance is crystal clear and completely translucent, with a color between golden and amber, with fairly large and slow bubbles, with slight sediments in suspension. It has a beige-orange foam, not too abundant, creamy and soapy, leaving lace residues on the glass wall. On the nose, its aroma is malty and citrusy, very powerful with mango and grapefruit, and to a lesser extent with dry flowers. In the mouth, it is quite dry, bitter and citrusy, not too sweet, with very pleasant notes of caramelized malt, grapefruit, orange peel, mango, peach, apricot, coconut, and vanilla. Medium/full body and silky texture. Its finish is quite long and pleasant, dry and refreshing, slightly bitter, with a aftertaste of grape, caramelized malt, apricot, and light mango. Medium carbonation. The 942 is a very good APA (American Pale Ale), very refreshing and citrusy, with a fantastic bitterness conferred by the hops, dry, round and balanced, a delight. To drink liters and liters, even though it is not particularly light in body, but its low alcohol content helps us a lot (only 4.20% ABV). Excellent balance between malts and hops, and a very good texture. In short, another great beer very well achieved by Dougall’s, which I will not hesitate to repeat.
