Flores de Callejo is a red wine produced by Bodegas Felix Callejo with Tinta Fina in the D.O. Ribera del Duero.
For the vine cycle, the year is characterised by a balance in terms of temperatures and rainfall. It ends with rain in November and December. The year begins with a dry and very cold winter, typical of the area. In spring, temperatures rise and in April rainfall increases to 98 litres/mm2 , which continues in May and June.
The summer is not as hot as in previous years, with storms in July and August. The cycle is brought forward and by the end of September the grape harvest begins, finishing on the 7th of October. The grapes ripen well, maintaining their acidity, which brings freshness, with a moderate sugar content, resulting in round and balanced wines.
It has an attractive cherry colour with a violet rim. On the nose, very aromatic, with marked notes of fruits of the forest. The palate is lively, with sensations of berries and a persistent primary finish.
