Buy Soft Paste Franxón Cheese
Soft paste cheese, similar to Camembert, with a very careful presentation: it comes wrapped in thick paper and is stored inside a charming wooden box.
Very creamy and melting cheese made only with pasteurized cow's milk. Unpressed soft paste.
Its flavor is mild, more pronounced as it matures. In the mouth, it delights us with flavors of mushrooms and nuts.
In its intense aroma, we also find that touch of nuts and mushrooms.
Its color is a soft yellow and its thin rind is whitish due to the natural maturation process and penicillium candidum.
Its maturation period is very short since it only needs about 15 days to reach its optimal point.
Its approximate weight is 250 grams.
Store in cold temperatures between 3 and 6 degrees.
To enjoy its best flavor, take it out of the packaging and refrigerator a while before consuming it. The time needed to reach its optimal temperature is less than cheeses with more maturation.
Try it with crunchy bread, fruits, and nuts. It is recommended to pair it with a Brut cider or a natural Asturian cider.
We recommend choosing the "Cold Shipping" carrier to not break the cold chain and ensure the product arrives in optimal conditions. It is the customer's responsibility to choose the "Cold Shipping" method. Origen Asturias is not responsible in any case for the condition in which the items arrive due to inadequate shipping.
