Georg Mosbacher Riesling Trocken is a white wine made from Riesling in Forst (Germany) by the Mosbacher family.
The "house Riesling" as they call it, is a selection of grapes from different plots with reddish sand, pebble and clay soils.
This winery was founded in 1920 by the Mosbacher family which today, after 3 generations, continues to produce its wines from its 20 hectares of vineyards in the surroundings of the emblematic village of Forst.
Its Riesling wines have put this winery in the spotlight due to its reputation and prestige as one of the best wineries in the Palatinate region.
Powerful nose of ripe fruit reminiscent of peach and green apple. Complexity in the mouth with a round and full body. A fun interplay of finesse and minerality with a long finish.
Ideal as an aperitif and also to accompany fresh fish and white meat dishes.
