On June 3, 2014, the first gin from Madrid was presented at GinMotive, which was also awarded first place. The initial idea was to listen to the opinion of professionals, who received it with enthusiasm. From that moment on, a dream began.

The name GinBear (bear is bear in English) alludes to the bear and the madrone of Madrid. The copper-colored label is a guide to the 250-liter still where it is distilled. But what is so special about this new gin? Several things. First of all, it uses 15 natural ingredients, including spices, flowers and fruits that macerate for 7 to 10 days in 100-liter tanks (most gins do not exceed 24 hours). The alcohol used to macerate the aromatic ingredients is high quality wheat. Once the infusion is obtained, this liquid is added to the copper still where it is distilled. The result is an alcohol of delicate perfume, depth and surprising smoothness. This is possible because everything that comes out of the still is bottled, after reduction with pure water.
